But one thing bothers me a lot. After I indexed my files and started playing songs, I noticed that pytone caused my CPU to run (at?by) 100% :( I don't have clue what the problem could be, someone of you knows more?

I have no immediate idea what the problem could be, but one thing: which audio driver are you using?

Im running Ubuntu 7.10, Python 2.5.1, pytone 2.3.1

You might also want to try the latest version of PyTone to see whether the problem persists. Jörg
